Symphony Orchestra

The ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Dr. Clifton Evans and performs works from the traditional repertoire as well as new music. Students in the orchestra work together in a supportive learning environment to achieve inspiring results. They are regularly coached by the Bass School of Music faculty. The ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV Symphony has been honored with an ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award and represented the United States at the "Meet in Beijing" Arts Festival. Recently performed repertoire has included masterworks by Beethoven, Debussy, Mahler, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, and many others.

Ensemble Placement Auditions

ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV Major Ensembles (Orchestra, Wind Bands, Choirs, Jazz) are open to music majors and non-major students alike. 

Ensemble placement is dependent upon the results of ensemble placement auditions, which occur each semester in August and January. Please visit the Ensemble Placement page for more info or contact the Performance Manager, Francisco Venegas ([email protected]).
