Graphic Design

The BA in Graphic Design is a flexible program that allows students to study art within the framework of a liberal arts education. Degree requirements provide a firm foundation in art practice while leaving room for students to consider expanding their academic experience with minors or double majors. Other students may choose the BA in Graphic Design because it provides prerequisite coursework for careers or academic work outside the art discipline.

The Graphic Design program requires a total of 124 credit hours of coursework: 49 credit hours of GenEd courses + 48 credit hours of Graphic Design courses. Course requirements for the major are listed below.

Current and prospective students should contact Shirley Zhang ([email protected]) with any questions or to make a personalized plan for degree completion.
