Meinders Speaker Series: Managing Cybersecurity - Sponsored by Bank of Oklahoma

The public is invited to join us Thursday, Oct. 2 for the first session of the 2025-26 Meinders Speaker Series, events designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights from influential business leaders and distinguished alumni via a specialized keynote speaker presentation and audience Q&A session. This is a free event open to all ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV students, faculty and alumni but also the Oklahoma business community thanks to the generosity of our sponsor Bank of Oklahoma Financial.

Tucker leads the cybersecurity team responsible for protecting information important to BOK Financials’ operation, while ensuring the overall cyber resiliency and privacy of the bank. He has more than two decades of experience building and running enterprise security functions, security engineering, security governance and program management. He joined BOK Financial in 2015.

Tucker has a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University and was a participant in the CISO Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has contributed to many DHS, TSA, FBI and energy/financial sector special committees on cybersecurity initiatives. In addition, he regularly shares insights on what's happening in the industry and the latest trends.

The Meinders Speaker Series aims to deepen ÃÛÌÒÓ°ÏñAV’s connections with the business community and explore potential career opportunities for our students. By engaging with seasoned professionals, students will gain valuable knowledge and expand their professional network. Future events will be announced soon.
